A Post About the Post...Game that is!

After the Oshawa Generals won in OT during the 2nd game of round 3 in the OHL playoffs, Rogers put on a post game show, setup and organized by me. Everything went off without a hitch. Everything from the 3 microphones (host, coach and player) were all tested, the tripod and plate were setup, triax cable (for the camera) was run, ready to be plugged in, and was previously tested. As a 100% volunteer, I successfully and flawlessly setup everything for a province wide broadcast of an OHL playoff game, something that I am proud of, as plenty of detail oriented work went into my project for the night, which I am proud to be associated with.

As a perk of being a video journalist, I got to do 2 laps of the Mosport track in a Corvette...oh, and interview the DRPS chief, YRP Deputy Chief and Ron Fellows, a racing legend. Inferno in Whitby

I was on scene of a significant fire in Whitby in a historic district of downtown. The fire broke out in a restaurant basement approximately 2 a.m. on April 3rd. Here are some photos from the scene, taken by Dave Parsons.

YQT to YTZ Time Lapse

After an extremely successful year completing an accelerated Broadcast Television diploma at Confederation College in Thunder Bay, I flew home to Toronto on March 31, 2015. After some de-icing, we took off about 13:13. It was a very smooth flight and great day for flying, but also for taking time lapse from my seat in 3A. Here is the link to the video for you to enjoy!
